- Identifying hazardous substances, how to obtain the necessary information and the completion of COSHH assessments as required by the Regulations
- Construction Site Safety Awareness* (1 day)
- Safety awareness training for construction industry employees
- Fire Warden Training (1/2 day)
- A basic awareness of fire safety suitable for all those responsible for ensuring the safety of persons and/or premises. Such persons could include Senior Managers, Safety Officers or Fire Wardens.
- IOSH Managing Safely (accredited by the Institution of Occupational Health and Safety)
- Ideal introduction for managers/supervisors with safety responsibilities. Includes accident investigation, risk assessment, manual handling, COSHH and machinery, with exam and work based project
- Machinery (1/2 day)
- Machinery and work equipment safety, covering design, purchasing, installation and use
- Manual Handling* (1/2 day)
- Course will enable delegates to assess manual handling risks and avoid potential for injury
- Combined practical and theory syllabus
- Noise Awareness* (1/2 day)
- Ensures employees are adequately trained in accordance with Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. Includes practical demonstration of correct fittings and use of various types of hearing protection
- Office Safety (1 day)
- Covering hazards associated with working in an office environment, such as fire, manual handling and the use of display screen equipment
- Risk Assessment* (1 day)
- Theory and practical training on how to carry out workplace risk assessments. Includes manual handling and COSHH assessment principles
- Working at Height* (1/2 day)
- Covering the safe use of ladders, access towers, scaffolding and working on fragile roofs
