This course identifies health and safety legislation relevant to office environments, hazards and risks associated with activities and highlights best working practice. The use of display screen equipment is an integral part of office activity. As a result a section of this course focuses on hazards, problems and controls associated with the activity.

Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for managing office safety. Also, employees in order to understand hazards and controls associated with activities undertaken within office environments.
To enable delegates to understand:-
- The legal background associated with office safety;
- Identification of hazards and risks together with implementing control measures for common office hazards, including slips, trips and falls, manual handling, fire, electricity, hazardous substances and display screen equipment.
